Indra Daha also known as Daha chowk lies just 5 KM Northwest from Kalanki, Kathmandu. It is an exotic place with abundance of natural beauty and is historically and religiously significant. The graveyard of Kazi Kalu Pandey, Prime Minster under The Great Prithivi Narayan Shah who was the driving force behind the unification campaign of The Great PN shah lies there. Apparently in the dying moments, he desired to be buried at a place from where gorkha as well as the famous Manakamana Temple could be seen. There is also a replica of Manakamana temple of gorkha built in 1757 and dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati.
Indra Daha itself a religiously significant pond believed to be in existence since Satya Yug.
