Champadevi hill is located in Southern part of Kathmandu at an elevation of 2214 m. Our hike will begin from the beautiful lake, Taudaha at Chovar. The lake, arguably the only clean water body remaining in the Kathmandu Valley, is a stopover for numerous migratory bird species. Some of the visitors to the lake include the cormorants, Ruddy Shelduck, Serpent eagle, common teal. After a brief introduction we will begin our hike towards the champadevi hill. The trail on the ridge offers a spectacular view of mountains from Annapurna to Gaurishankar and beyond in a clear day and a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu valley.

Weather: Some sun with a couple of showers and thunderstorm are expected on the day. We advise you to bring a raincoat (for Monsoon season) and wear comfortable light hiking/running shoes.
